Welcome to Kalset milk, which is owned and operated by Anna and Hans Samuelsson in the village of Kalset in Skeppshult. Here, there is both milk and meat production, and the cow manure is used to produce its own electricity and biogas. We will both see and hear more about the biogas facility on the farm. In addition, Västbo biogas will be present and talk about their project where several farmers and other stakeholders have come together to build a biogas facility in Reftele. You don't want to miss this! The Agricultural Society will conclude the day with a lecture on local energy preparedness, and what advantages and disadvantages exist with the different alternatives. What suits your operation? Bring the question!

This lecture is part of the project ”Nordic Preparedness” which is co-financed by the European Union. During 2026 and 2027, we are putting a little extra effort into preparedness to strengthen the ability to handle future crises in our area. We learn from initiatives in the county, but also in Finland and Åland. You are warmly welcome to join our events in the project!
