Step 1

Discuss the idea with us

Okay, now you have read about the Leader method, you have found a project support that fits and you have tested your idea with our checklist. If you now feel that the project fits with us at Leader, it is time to start the application. The first step is to contact us at the Leader office and use us as a sounding board. We will go through the idea and ask questions to create as clear and concrete a project idea as possible. We are also happy to help you with budget questions.

Step 2

Arrange a power of attorney

In order to represent an organization or association and make an application, you need to have a power of attorney. There you can check which tasks the power of attorney will apply to, for example to change bank account and contact details in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's e-service. The easiest way is to check all options so that those possibilities are available if you need them during the project's course.

When the form is filled out, it is time to send it to the Swedish Board of Agriculture. The address is on the form. It takes about a week before the power of attorney is registered. Only after that can you make an application.

If you are applying for support for a sole proprietorship, you do not need a power of attorney. Move on to the next step!

Step 3

Write application

There you go! Now you can log in to the Swedish Board of Agriculture's e-service. That is where you will write your application. You can access it by going to agriculturalagency.se and log in to ”My pages” with your Bank-ID. You will need to select the organization you will represent. If you do not see the organization you represent, the power of attorney has not yet taken effect. For a sole proprietorship, you should choose the option ”Myself.”. 

You will also need to choose a focus area, where you select the one of our various project supports that best fits the project. Ask us at the Leader office if you are unsure how to choose.

Ansökan består av ett antal frågor som du ska svara på. Du ska också välja ett bra namn på projektet, gärna kort och kreativt! Vi kommer att använda namnet när vi informerar allmänheten om projektet så det är värt att tänka till. Namnet går inte att ändra i efterhand.

Till din ansökan behöver du bifoga:

• En budget som visar vilka utgifter som kommer att finnas i projektet. Använd budgetmallen här nedan. Till alla utgifterna du söker stöd för ska du även bifoga offerter och andra kostnadsunderlag – du måste helt enkelt visa hur du har kommit fram till beloppen. Utgifterna ska vara rimliga. Därför ska du också visa vilket eller vilka priser du har jämfört med för att hitta de mest prisvärda alternativen.

• Ett likviditetsintyg. Det är till för att visa att din förening/organisation/företag har tillräcklig ekonomi för att genomföra projektet, exempelvis kontoutdrag, balansräkning eller lånelöfte. Stödet betalas ut i efterhand vilket betyder att ni behöver kunna ligga ute med pengarna.
• Om det behövs några tillstånd behöver du skicka med underlag för det också. Det kan också finnas andra viktiga dokument som ska skickas med, till exempel protokoll eller ritningar. Osäker på vad som behöver skickas med? Fråga oss!

När du trycker på knappen ”Granska och skicka in” kommer ansökan även in till oss på Leaderkontoret.

Steg 4

Gör ändringarna som behövs

När ansökan har kommit till oss på Leaderkontoret handlägger vi den. Vi kommer att ge dig feedback och säga till om du behöver lägga till eller förtydliga något. Det tar olika lång tid för olika projekt att få ansökan helt färdig.

När kontoret bedömer att du har med allt som behöver finnas med i ansökan så är det dags för beslut. Vår styrelse har beslutsmöten ungefär var tredje månad. Du kommer att bli inbjuden att pitcha din idé, vilket innebär att du får presentera projektet inför styrelsen och svara på deras frågor under mötet.

Steg 5

Dags för beslut

Vi meddelar styrelsens beslut så snart vi kan. Om styrelsen har sagt ja till projektstöd från oss så kommer vi på kontoret att handlägga ansökan vidare. Sedan är det Jordbruksverket som fattar det formella beslutet. Det kan dröja länge på grund av långa handläggningstider hos Jordbruksverket. Fråga oss på kontoret om du vill veta hur väntetiderna där ser ut just nu.

Vill du komma igång tidigare så går det bra att starta projektet innan Jordbruksverket har fattat sitt formella beslut –  men då görs detta på egen risk. Fråga oss på kontoret om du vill veta hur det fungerar.

Vi kommer även att bjuda in till en utbildning där vi går igenom det du behöver veta. Vi pratar om beslutet, hur ansökan om utbetalning går till, logotypregler du måste följa och annan viktig information. Glöm inte bort att vi finns ett samtal bort för att svara på frågor som kan dyka upp på vägen.

Om det däremot blir nej från styrelsen så kommer du att få en skriftlig motivering. Ett avslag betyder inte att styrelsen tycker att idén är dålig. Det kan bero på att idén inte uppfyller just våra mål, eller att projektets arbetssätt inte genomsyras av Leadermetoden. Då finns det andra ställen du kan söka projektstöd från för att komma vidare med din idé. Du kan också tänka om och söka för en annan idé framöver, nu när du vet mer om varför det blev ett avslag.
