Gränna city trail 2024
A completely new race – aimed at expanding Gränna as a tourist destination.
About the project
Bauers activities AB has the project idea to organize a new race in 2024 in collaboration with Gränna Business, Destination Jönköping, and non-profit associations. The race will be called ”Gränna CityTrail”.
The project is intended to strengthen the tourism industry in Gränna. The race will have several different distances and also children's races, which will make it possible for many to participate and thus contribute to promoting public health.
The company receives Leader support for project management, purchasing of materials (such as e.g. tents, banners, and race numbers) and rental of sound and lighting equipment and toilets.
From the application
”We want to put Gränna on the map for more than candy canes and hot air balloons and extend the season for the tourism industry. The same weekend there is also Gårdsrundan and Visingsö harvest festival so we want to help draw people to the location”
