Gränna church park
Volunteer superpower will give the old church park a new future.
About the project
Through volunteer efforts, the park next to Gränna rectory has received a significant boost. Now, Gränna-Visingsö parish will continue to develop the park into a place where the public can experience culture and find relaxation. The idea is to build an outdoor stage for concerts and meetings, and lighting in the park so that it can be used in the evening.
The project has strong support with many volunteers who are engaged.

The board's motivation
With strong volunteer engagement, the restored rectory garden becomes yet another attraction in the city. The tourism industry, as well as the community of Gränna, is strengthened by a dormant cultural and garden environment being brought to life and made accessible for recreation and cultural experiences for both locals and visitors. The project leads to increased attractiveness and accessibility.
