Play and community space
Great engagement in the community for the idea that will provide children and parents with a new meeting place.
About the project
Families with children in Norra Mo and Angerdshestra lack a good gathering place where they can meet spontaneously, make connections, and play. Therefore, there was a strong engagement in the community when two mothers, who themselves experienced the need for a new playground, came up with the project idea. The Angerdshestra community association has taken on ownership, the two initiators are project leading, and several different entrepreneurs and passionate individuals will help build the new play and community space.
The idea here is that children with different conditions can play in the sandbox, swing, climb, and play in the playhouse. There will also be a grill area and picnic tables adjacent to the play area, as well as storage boxes with games and play for different ages.
The project leaders believe that the community's residents coming together and helping will contribute to more people wanting to take care of the place, and have ”heart for” the new play and community space. The Leader support will be used to purchase materials.
From the application
