The steam boat dock in Sunnaryd will get new life to make the history alive for future generations.
About the project
The steam boat dock in Sunnaryd has a great need for renovation if it is to remind of its glory days in 1880. Now the Sunnaryd community association will renovate it to recreate the area for future generations at the site described as historical and unique. One idea is to use the nearby warehouse for exhibitions about Bolmen, for example about the steam boat era. The hope is to create interest in the local history.

The restoration of the historical steam boat quay in Sunnaryd demonstrates well-functioning collaboration between local parties to strengthen a cultural environment and a visitor destination. The measure broadens the range of interesting cultural historical attractions around Bolmen.
