About the project
Kylås Wilderness wants to develop its operations, where they already offer accommodation and outdoor cooking with a pizza oven. The project idea is to build a sauna raft, a new environmentally friendly toilet, and a storage room for outdoor equipment. The idea with the sauna raft is to provide a silence with nature and a place for recovery in a smaller, safe group. The toilet is for the public who walk the hiking trails.

The board's motivation
The well-established Wilderness Village in Kylås will be developed with a sauna facility and an activity house, thereby increasing the attractiveness of the facility. The operations are strengthened and accessibility is adapted. The tourism industry is stimulated and the possibility of employment for the area's service industries increases. Additionally, there will be service with a toilet along the hiking trail, which provides significant public benefit for all who visit and pass the facility.
