Learn to make your own biochar

Biochar gives an environmentally smart boost to gardening – something that has attracted more people to be interested in biochar. It can also be used to purify water and make your own compost toilet in case of a crisis. The best part is that you can make biochar yourself! In this workshop, Jenny Wickford will teach you how to go about it. It will be a practical workshop where you will take home new knowledge.

Plant walk: Discover nature's pantry

Join us for a leisurely walk where we identify common wild edible plants that are in season. In this workshop, Romy Ehnert will teach you which plants are particularly rich in nutrients and vitamins and how they can be used, preserved, and stored from a preparedness perspective.
